Our meals

Great food is an important part of our holiday tours!

At Creative Holidays we consider the meals as an important part for the success of your holiday. During the meals, which are served on the terrace overlooking the sea, all the guests meet up together. So you can also get to know the participants of the other workshops as well as the teachers and staff members. The meals are organized and prepared by our own catering, who guarantee fresh products, special combinations and healthy ingredients. We always provide a vegetarian alternative, and if possible, we also consider predefined dietary requirements.

Breakfast and lunch

The day starts from 8.30 – 9.15 with an extensive buffet breakfast. Coffee, tea, milk, orange juice and delicious freshly baked bread from the local bakery. There is a wide choice of savory and sweet fillings, but also muesli and fruit. At 11.30 we offer coffee and biscuits and at 14.00 at the end of the workshops, we serve lunch.

Our own catering provides a delicious buffet style dinner at 20.00 hrs. They use organic products as much as possible and always fresh ingredients. In the garden of our hotel we have lemon and fig trees and our own grapes. The owner of the hotel grows beans, courgettes, paprika’s, aubergines, pumpkins and fresh herbs in his vegetable garden. Local produce from farmers in the village such as seasonal fruits and vegetables and responsibly caught fish and produced meat are processed in a number of very special Mediterranean menus.

Diner with fresh ingredients and local products

Each day consists of a main course and a number of salads and side dishes. During dinner we serve flat and mineral water and local wines: red, white and rosé, from a winery in Nemea, the famous wine region in the area of Corinth. The meal is concluded by a surprising desert. We have bundled the recipes of most of the meals in a fun cookbook. The proceeds from its sale goes to our fund for the care of Greek stray dogs. If necessary, we try to find homes for these dogs in either Greece or in the Netherlands. The money from the fund is used to pay the costs of the vet and for travelling.

The whole day you can take free fresh fruit from our fruit bowl and cool drinking water is always available. If desired you can purchase, at affordable prices, refrigerated products from our fridge: cans of beer and soda’s, cooled bottles of wine, ouzo and retsina, yogurts, juices as well as mineral water. These are noted on the bar tab which is settled at the end of the week. All apartments are equipped with a refrigerator and facilities for making coffee and tea.

Dining in the small streets of Nafplion

Once a week whoever wishes can join us on a visit to the beautiful town of Nafplion. We can have dinner in a charming tavern in this mondaine and pittoresque town, where guests can also spend the afternoon walking around, shopping or enjoying a drink on a terrace in the square or in one of the cozy tavernas on the harbour front.

This dinner is not included in the price of the package deal.
