Shops are closed between 13.00 and 16.00 for siesta.
At night they often stay open until 20.00 or even later.

If you like good food, Greece is the right place to be. Greek cuisine is quite varied. Besides the well-known Mousaka, Tzaziki and Gyros restaurants serving various meat and fish dishes as well as tasty vegetarian dishes.
Drinking water is not recommended from the tap, we advise you to buy bottled water.

Greece has a Mediterranean climate, with generally mild winters and warm summers. Spring and autumn are the best periods for active holidays.
